The Basic Parts of Every Vaping Device

Vaping devices are filled with liquid that may or may not contain nicotine. A small device element provides a heat that turns the liquid into a vapor that is inhaled through the mouthpiece.

1. The atomizer is the heart of any vape device and is consisted of the following parts:

• A coil that heats up in order to vaporize the liquid
• Vape tank where the e-liquid is stored
• Wick that carries the liquid to the coil
• Air intake system that lets air flow over the coil carrying the vapor from the coil to the mouthpiece.

5. Vape mod – connects the batteries with the atomizer and transfers power to it.
6. E-juice or also referred to as vape juice is the liquid that mainly contains propylene glycol, vegetable glycerin, flavorings and in some cases nicotine.

Electronic Cigarettes or E-cigarettes

The term: “e-cigarettes” can be used to refer to all vaping devices, however is most commonly used for devices that look like regular cigarettes in size and in shape. They are recommended for beginner vapers and transition smokers.

Almost every brand of e-cigs provides two main types of the device:

1. Disposable electronic cigarettes usually designed as one-piece device
2. Rechargeable electronic cigarettes that are made out of two-pieces

Disposable e-cigarettes are suitable for social situations and periods when you are constantly on the go. Rechargeable type is more convenient for when you have a chance to charge the batteries like in the car or at home.

E-cigars are affordable devices that are easy to use and very discreet. Moreover, they are very small and resemble a regular cigarette, except they will smell and taste great.

Vapor Pens or Vape Pens

A vape pen is a portable vaporizer that is thin and looks like an actual pen. Moreover, this is the reason that makes them look more elegant than other vape devices and they are compact enough to fit into any pocket.

Vape pens are smaller than other vape devices but they perform better than the e-cigs. They usually comprise of three parts; the mouthpiece, battery and the tank. In different types and brands those three parts can be made as detachable or as all-in-one design. Vape pens have a smaller heating system and the capacity of their internal batteries is very limited. However, they have longer battery life than the disposable e-cigarettes.

Vape pens are a more affordable option than other portable vaporizers and since most of them have standard builds their parts can easily be replaced. Furthermore, vape pens are easy to maintain and clean as they are built by three or in some cases only two parts.

Box mods look nothing like a cigarette and are recommended to be used by intermediate to very experienced vapers. Most commonly they are used for direct to lung method of vaping by the consumers that enjoy a solid lung hit. Moreover, they produce a bigger amount of vapor and are often used for performing vape tricks.

Box mod kits come in bigger size that usually means a better performance and longer battery life that comes as a form of external vape batteries. General configuration for a box mod kit looks like this:

• Single battery mode (some devices come with external batteries)
• Variable voltage and wattage
• Temperature control
• Airflow control on atomizer
• LED screen to display info on battery life, voltage/wattage setting, and temperature setting.
• Sub-ohm tank
